Meet Our Team

William Filter
Chief Contemplative Officer
Lead Instructor & Training Supervisor
Bill is an experienced meditation and integration coach, serving clients globally, both in-person and online. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Purdue University and has studied contemplative sciences at Naropa University. Bill has thirteen years of expertise as a meditation instructor and has studied and practiced Tibetan Buddhism for over thirty years.
In 2012, Bill co-founded the AMP Training Method, combining physical training methodology with hands-on instruction in contemplative practice. He continues providing training to Navy SEALs, Special Forces Veterans, professional athletes, firefighters and law enforcement personnel. Bill’s work at The Wisdom dojo since 2021 has focused on post-psychedelic treatment, where he has developed a customized, in-depth program that uses more advanced traditional meditation techniques to help clients integrate their experiences.
Bill is lead instructor and training supervisor at both The Wisdom dojo and Vajra Ocean. Bill’s user-friendly approach to teaching developed from his time as a bodybuilder and personal trainer in Indiana, and his enthusiasm for helping clients define, refine, and realize their individual goals. His practical, interactive coaching style drives his commitment to helping Ocean trainees integrate their psychedelic-assisted treatement through meditation practice and community engagement.

Our Community Board
Amanda, Stephanie, and Nancy are the inaugural members of our newly established Community Board. Our aim is to foster connections among participants within our emerging community.
Integrating insights from a medicine journey involves mutual support: listening to and sharing experiences, building friendships with fellow travelers, giving and receiving peer support, practicing meditation together, and learning more advanced techniques.
Steph, Amanda and Nancy are helping shape Vajra Ocean's community into a circle of support for everyone, from those newly navigating their integration journey to experienced individuals seeking deeper understanding and growth.
